Women's History Month 2026

March 02, 2026

As one of the first pension plans for women, YWCA Retirement Fund has supported the YWCA's mission to eliminate racism and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all since 1925.

The YWCA network has a storied legacy of driving national conversations around women’s voting rights, reproductive health, and more. During Women’s History Month, we'll amplify and celebrate the YWCA's celebrating history of advocating for women, the ways in which associations across the country continue this work, and the many sheroes and changemakers, past and present, at its forefront.

“Starting with our work supporting the Suffragette movement, YWCA has always viewed civic participation as a cornerstone of our commitment to building a world where women, girls, and all people can thrive.” - Margaret Mitchell, YWCA USA CEO
